With not any feelings of the heart
Bless them safe may they forever be
Safe from me, oh safe from me.

 Gazing out the castle window
The stars above, the lake below
She’s by herself, that’s for sure
And nobody could ever care more.

 He stands solitary, in peace
Yet the endless fighting will not cease
He’s alone again, sole voice of truth
Verily here, there is no coming truce

She came to battle one sultry day
Prepared to fight, in every possible way
She gazed upon the field’s Plutonian shore
She would not hurt, she fought nevermore

He screamed again, yet again, Forsake Life!
Stop your suffering! End your strife!
Through the great Maëlstrom people did gaze
The darkness, the light, of bloodlust’s reddish haze

He turned and left, left them indeed
They would never listen, those foul machines!
The castle was his home, sweet home
No more on these red rivers would he roam

In a flash it had all become clear
Liberty. Justice. Freedom alone were dear!
She turned and fled, no badge of courage did adorn
The battle robes, the cloth that was so worn

The hand of fate declares that like minds must meet
Through wind, rain, hail, storm, and sleet
For her, she would never walk alone
For him, humanity entombed in coldest stone.
